Tooltails provides free utility tools for personal and commercial use. You agree to use them in accordance with these guidelines:

User Content
Tools like the Focus Timer and Pomodoro Timer allow you to enter goals, tasks, and notes. This content is stored locally in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers. You retain full ownership and responsibility for any content you enter.
Because we do not receive or store this data, we cannot access, moderate, or recover it. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of any important information.
Intellectual Property
The Tooltails brand, design, code, and content are owned by Tooltails. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit permission.
This does not restrict your use of the tools themselves. The calculations, results, and content you generate using our tools belong to you.

Tooltails is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation or availability of the service.
Age calculations, date math, and productivity metrics are provided for informational purposes. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that results are error-free or suitable for any specific purpose. You use the tools at your own discretion.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to create an account to use Tooltails?
No. All tools are available without registration. We do not require any personal information to use the age calculator, word counter, or productivity timers.
Can I use Tooltails for commercial purposes?
Yes. The tools are free for personal and commercial use. You may not, however, scrape, reverse engineer, or redistribute the tools themselves.
What happens if the site goes down?
We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for any losses resulting from downtime.
Will the terms change in the future?

What about data loss in tools that use localStorage?
Tools like Focus and Pomodoro store data in your browser's localStorage. Clearing your browser data or using a different device will erase that data. We cannot recover it.
