The ATS Rejection of Functional Resumes
ATS parsers are designed to map skills to timelines. They need to calculate how long you have used a technology. A functional resume lists your skills in one section and your companies/dates in another. Because the parser cannot link the two, it assumes your experience duration is 0 years.
Stick to Reverse-Chronological Layouts
