By using Tooltails Focus, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the tool. These terms apply specifically to the Focus Timer application and supplement the main Tooltails Terms of Service.
Use of Services
Tooltails Focus is designed for personal productivity and goal tracking. You agree to use it responsibly:
- - Do not use Focus for any unlawful purpose.
- - Do not attempt to exploit, reverse engineer, or disrupt the application.
- - Do not use Focus to store or transmit malicious content.
Local Data
Focus stores all user data in your browser's localStorage. This includes goals, session history, streaks, mood logs, and application preferences. Because this data never reaches our servers, we cannot:
- - Access, view, or read your goals and journal entries
- - Back up or restore your data
- - Recover data lost due to browser clearing, incognito mode, or device changes
You acknowledge and accept these limitations by using the tool.
Intellectual Property
The Focus Timer application, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Tooltails. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the application without permission.
The goals, notes, and reflections you create within the application belong to you.
Disclaimers
Tooltails Focus is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the timer, sound generation, or productivity features will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific productivity goals.
Limitation of Liability
Tooltails shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Focus Timer, including data loss, lost productivity, or missed deadlines resulting from browser behavior, device failure, or application downtime.
Changes
We may update these terms as the Focus Timer evolves. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Do I need an account to use Focus?
No. Tooltails Focus does not require registration, login, or any personal information.
Can you see my goals and journal entries?
No. Everything is stored in your browser's localStorage and never transmitted to our servers.
What if I lose my data?
Since data is stored locally, clearing your browser cache or switching devices will erase it. We recommend not relying on Focus for critical information you cannot afford to lose.
Is Focus suitable for commercial use?
Focus is provided for personal productivity. Commercial use within a team or organization is permitted, but we do not offer multi-user sync, collaboration, or enterprise support.
Can I use Focus offline?
Yes. Focus works offline after the initial page load. localStorage data persists even without an internet connection.
